Do You Know How Many Muscles Are In the Human Body?

Okay, let’s start counting;

You’ve got the muscles that everybody knows, biceps, quads, and pecs;

If you’re a bit more sophisticated you know the transverse abodominus, quadratus lumborum, and orbiuclaris oculai - -

So, how many muscles are there in the human body?

200?

400?

600?

Thousands?

How about ONE?

That’s right. There is really just one muscle in the human body. All of the muscles are interrelated. They work in a synergistic fashion with one another.

This means that the pain in your back will affect the way that you walk.

How can this be?

Well, EVERY muscle in the body is connected by a tissue known as fascia. This fascia is like a spider web. If you move one part of the web – the entire structure moves.

So what does this mean for you? Well, you may want to train the entire system. Train the entire structure. Not just the biceps. Or the chest. Or any other individual muscle.

Train your entire fascial structure, your whole body, and it will improve in every way!
