Food Inc. is a documentary about the America's food industry.
 

The premise of the film is that there are many things wrong with our food:

  1. Everything possible is being done to grow the food faster, fatter, bigger and cheaper. 
  2. Most of the food we consume is simply a rearrangement of corn.
  3. The industry is getting rich at the expense of our health.
The hope is that American's will finally come to the realization that we vote with our money. If we spend money on organic, natural foods the food industry will respond and produce more of that type of food. This is also a problem because the food they produce is so inexpensive, many people will not spend their money on food that is 2-3 times more expensive.

"We believe that federally funded nutrition programs should provide all children with the healthy food they deserve. This includes low fat and safe dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole grains. Schools should be soda and junk-food-free zones and serve food that complements and furthers parents' efforts to feed their children healthfully."
